Dear members, It is nearly 9 years since the mall started. Since
2009 when the first 3 floors of the mall received OC it has been a
downhill journey, with mismanagement at all levels. Major issues that we
are fighting for
- Non payment of Property tax to the tune of 18 cr by HDIL and
Dreams the Mall
- Non payment of electricity and water dues by HDIL/Dreams the
Mall
- Complete breakdown of all services.
- Abandonment of the mall by HDIL/DTM since 2015/2016
Because of all these reasons the value of our properties in
the mall has gone down, wheresas all over Mumbai and Bhandup the prices
have gone through the roof. We need to pool our efforts to restore
NOT ONLY all essential services, but make Dreams the Mall a successful
mall.
Though many of us
are in different WhatsApp groups and social media we have yet to come together
bond as a family and make Dreams Mall a success.
While few individuals have been putting in great effort, many shop
owners have been waiting to get clear direction on how to proceed. We
are all greatful to their efforts and the efforts of the petitioners,
and request all the shop owners of the mall to join in the efforts. The
objective of this website it to make the
- Shop owners aware and up to date on the current situation.
- Bring every shop owner together, enlist their support in the
common cause so that we can recover our investments in the Mall.
- Help ourselves by making the court cases a success.
- Help get the mall back into shape by constructively working
together with the administrator.
Why is it important to unite and fight now :
- No one else will fight our battles. If we are not united, the
builder will only take advantage of the situation to further his
gains.
- He is in every way trying to create factions, sow mistrust,
creat confusion and split us.
- In the long term, our property is ideally situated, and
with the new DP 2034, and the proximity to the metro, railway
station and LBS marg touch location the permissible FSI will go up.
The builder is eyeing these advantages and
not giving up control over property he as SOLD off.
