Background

The BMC water connection to the mall has been cut since 2014 due to non-payment by the builder. Water bill outstanding is about Rs. 1.03 crores. Limited period offer (Upto Dec 31, 2020) by BMC under Abhay Yojna to pay Rs. 42.43 lacs and restore water connection.

Sewerage tax has been added to the property tax bills of entities in the mall. Increase in property taxes in about 45%. It is therefore a big loos if we dont take advantage of Abhay Yojana, and regularize the water connection. Else every year we will pay more in property taxes than cost of water (without a connection). For more information refer here.

We are therefore collecting about 21,000/ per shop, from shopowners. Till date about 170+ shop owners have contributed 35 lacs and we need 8 lacs more to achieve our goal of 43 lacs. If more shop owners contribute, we will be able to adjust the balance amounts against CAM immediately.

Our Benefits

1. Under Abhay Yojana we pay only 43 lacs, instead of 103 lacs (our current outstanding) and hence save 60 lacs.
2. Removal of Sewarage Tax penalty in Property tax (Prop.Tax has increased by 45%).
3. So that only water contributors benifit, we have also requested BMC in writing to remove Sewerage tax from property tax bill only for shop owners who have contributed for BMC water connection restoration.
4. BMC water in Mall which will increase the value and reputation of your property.
5. Clean & ample water at cheaper rate than tanker water.

Please draw your cheque in favour of ‘Administrator of Dreams The Mall Company Ltd.’ and handedover the same at UG-40, between 10.30 am to 6:30 pm. On the back of the cheque, please mention your SHOP, your contact number, and payment for BMC water re-connection.
